Coming soon: interview with Michel Kilo, Syrian human rights activist

Our interview with Syrian writer, democracy campaigner, and human rights activist Michel Kilo comes out this week.

Kilo has been one of the leading voices seeking reconciliation in Syria for nearly his entire adult life, and was even once considered as a transition leader in Syria. He has been imprisoned for his views, including a three-year sentence in 2009 for signing the Lebanon-Damascus petition demanding Syria recognize Lebanon as a state.

He has also been very active in public life as an expert opinion on developments within Syria since the Syrian Civil War began in 2012.
