On Saturday in the north west of Paris, Syrian and Iranian officials from their respective Resistance Councils came together to blueprint in solidarity a roadmap for next steps to bring stability to the Middle East region.
By invitation of the exiled main Iranian opposition group PMOI / MEK proposals were heard from speakers from the Independent National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces (CNFOR) including Ms. Nagham Ghadri, former vice president; and Dr. Nasr Al-Hariri, representative.
The Media Express news agency interviewed Ms. Nagham Ghadri and also Dr. Nasr Al-Hariri during Saturday’s event asking their points on the practical measure to ensure a continuing solidarity between the Iranian and Syrian resistance groups.
Dr. Nasr Al-Hariri took a historical starting point to remind us that under consecutive regimes the Iranian people have had their inalienable human rights stolen, moving to more present thinking to say the Syrian and Iranian people’s purpose to remaining united is for a peaceful and obtainable transition.
The medical doctor and Syrian Coalition representative Dr. Al-Hariri is sure that ‘our enemy is same; the Iranian regime. So we can start from now and we have already started a high level of coordination and collaboration to reach our targets to get rid of this regime. And to make the suitable climate for our people to live peacefully.’
Addressing the seated delegates during the evening the Iranian Resistance’s president-elect Mrs. Maryam Rajavi in a keynote spoke about solidarity as a tool for bringing stability to the region brokering it in with the words ‘your victory is our victory’.
Curious to know more The Media Express news agency caught a word with Ms. Nagham Ghadri Syrian Coalition representative to get the former vice president’s response on Mrs. Rajavi’s words.
Ms. Ghadri told The Media Express ‘as everybody know, the Iranian regime is fighting next to the Syrian regime now; not just now, since the beginning of the revolution. And that means that [the Iranian regime] wants the Al Assad regime to stay in the area. And that’s why we can hear ‘your victory is our victory.’
Ms. Ghadri was measured in tone adding that ‘when we win this [Syrian] revolution that means both the Iranian regime and Syrian regime will disappear from Syria. And we’re hoping this will [impact] directly on Iran starting another revolution to get rid of the [Iranian] regime.’
